America Under Pressure: Identities, Loyalties and Medallic Art during the Great War

For the new exhibit The Art of Devastation: Medals and Posters of the Great War, Peter van Alfen will give the opening lecture. Van Alfen is the Margaret Thompson Curator of Ancient Greek Coins at the American Numismatic Society in New York and co-curator of The Art of Devastation. A reception will follow in the Art Center Atrium.
