The Trojan war and modern-day collide in this contemporary adaptation of Homer’s timeless tale. In a tour-de-force performance, Brian McEleney stars as the lone storyteller fated to share the same age-old story repeatedly throughout history. McEleney embodies a plethora of characters as he recounts familiar tales of gods and goddesses, conflicts and battles, and humanity’s unshakeable attraction to destruction, and chaos over the millennia. AN ILIAD will blend storytelling with poetry and humor in a captivating theatrical experience featuring local musician, Erich Shoen-Rene, on the cello.
