An Introduction to Birth Work Career Pathways

Explore a calling or aspiration to work with women/couples during the pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Students will learn about rewarding career opportunities available without a medical degree, as well as the clinical field of Midwifery. This workshop will help students navigate a career and entrepreneurial options as a birth professional and present a basic overview of the midwifery model of care. The presenter, Tamara Wrenn, is the Executive Director for Just Us Women Productions.
