Angry Orchard Wassail

Wassailing is a tradition practiced in the cider orchards of southern England during the winter. A folktale from Somerset reflecting this custom tells of the spirit of the oldest apple tree in the orchard, in whom the fertility of the orchard is thought to reside.Join us for a special Wassail tour through the Orchard and help us wake up the trees to let them know spring is right around the corner! With a mug of warm Wassail Wooden Sleeper in hand, you'll march down and circle up around one of the oldest trees in our orchard, while belting out our classic Wassail Chants at the top of your lungs, banishing any bad spirits hanging out in the trees. With your help, we're sure to have our most successful harvest yet to date! Tours will go out at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, and 2:30pm.
