Antique Quilts

The Clinton Historical Society will exhibit private collections of antique quilts from 1898 through 1940, including some reproductions of vintage quilt designs and materials. This colorful display features exquisite finely-detailed needlework that took hundreds of hours to complete from materials salvaged from men’s shirts, women’s mourning dresses, feed sacks, and other sources during the Depression and other times.
