The Friends of APL presents the National Library Week Distinguished Author Lecture and Luncheon with author James Lasdun. James Lasdun has published novels, poetry, short stories, and a memoir, which was excerpted in The New Yorker. His essays and reviews have appeared in Harper’s, Granta, The London Review of Books, The New York Times, The Guardian and The New Yorker. Lasdun was born in London and now lives in the Hudson Valley. The luncheon is at 12 PM and costs $25 to attend. The lecture at 1:30 PM is free to attend.
