Approaching Art Galleries and Business Strategies for Artists

Virginia Walsh, director and curator of the Ann Street Gallery in Newburgh, NY, will lead a 2-hour long seminar covering the multifaceted approach to being a successful gallery artist. Participants will learn about portfolio presentation and preparation, image packaging, resumes, artist statements, website development, and business practices. Alternative methods and opportunities will also be explored. Q&A will be encouraged as well as a discussion among attendees.
