April is Sikh Awareness and Appreciation Month in New York State, and the month when Sikhs celebrate Vaisakhi (an important Sikh festival and celebration). Stop by our table on Friday, April 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the College Center to learn more about Sikhs in America and Sikhs’ emphasis on selfless service (seva) with some chai (Indian tea) and Indian snacks. Sikhs in America are an often misunderstood and overlooked religious group, so please come by to learn more.
