Program will present “art” songs from the 16th through 19th centuries by Dowland, Purcell, Bach, Bellini, Schubert & Liszt, and on the second half songs derived from folk, traditional and popular sources from South America, Spain, France, the British Isles and America, including settings by DeFalla, Seiber, Gershwin and Dinger. The program also includes solo guitar pieces by Sor, Ponce & Velasquez.
