Art for a New Consciousness, Art for a New Humanity: Lecture by Dr. Kamran Khavarani

Kamran Khavarani, artist, architect, and humanitarian, is internationally recognized as the creator of the art movement known as Abstract Romanticism. He has designed more than 300 architectural projects in Iran, winning the international design competition for his design of the City Theater of Tehran, a landmark of the capital city. Khavarani will be introduced by film scholar and critic Bahman Maghsoudlou. The talk will be preceded by a 6pm reception and followed by a Q&A session. Lecture Center room 102.
