'A Well Respected Man' is a collaborative folk art and design show between Available Items and South Road Antiques. Pulling pieces from South Road’s collection of 20th century folk art and antiques, Available Items presents a fantasy world built around a naive portrait of a man with piercing blue eyes, crisp collared shirt, and perfectly parted hair… In the show, we encounter glimpses of possible scenes from everyday life in the 1950s from mid-century chairs to handmade wooden objects and trade signs.
