Bard Theater and Performance Program Presents: "Desire"

Written and Directed by Jack Ferver With additional text by Tennessee Williams Scenic and Costume Design by Jeremy Jacob Lighting Design by JAX Messenger Categorical thought shifts, blurs, and gives way as a group of students are haunted and haunt Tennessee William’s "Streetcar Named Desire" while trapped in a living room in the Midwest in the 90s. Tori Amos floats in and out, characters collapse, and psyches merge in this disembodied yet empowered adaptation of a play about losing one’s mind under the crush of a world without poetry.
