Scholar Erika Gault performs portions of her award-winning slam poems regarding seldom discussed moments in African American history. The dynamic presentation will unpack our understanding of events like the Tulsa Race Riots and its impact on the American story as a whole. This is a multimedia presentation, filled with poems, songs and stories taken from Gault's co-authored stage play entitled Ain't She Brave.
