Brooklyn's Tim Kuhl Performs in Kingston and Beacon
Tim Kuhl
Brooklyn drummer and composer Tim Kuhl is mainly known for his tenure with Sean Lennon’s band the GOASTT and as an accompanist to singer-songwriter Margaret Glaspy. But Kuhl also leads his own band, which he’s bringing to the Hudson Valley for two shows this month in promotion of his newest album Sky Valley.

Sky Valley reflects Kuhl’s passion for jazz, modern pop sounds, and ’80s film scores. It was written and recorded on an iPad while he was on tour with Glaspy, and features collaborations with Geoffrey Bankowski (AKA Quietus) and performance personality Anna Copa Cabanna.

Take a listen to the title track below:

Tim Kuhl will perform with Mike Pride and Yellowstone Apocalypse at Tubby’s in Kingston on March 15 at 8pm (donation requested) and Quinn’s in Beacon on March 16 at 8pm (donation requested). For more information, visit www.tubbyskingston.com and https://www.facebook.com/QuinnsBeacon/.
