Teacher: Khenpo Karma Tenkyong. What is Buddhism, and how can we apply its practices to our everyday lives? Khenpo Tenkyong explains that it is much more than meditating, reciting mantras and daily prostrations. Instead, Buddhism is an evolving system, based on interdependence and emptiness, where taking care of your own health and the planet are just as essential as the traditional practices. In this weekend workshop we learn the basics of Buddhism, set our motivation, practice meditation, explore Himalayan yoga and commune with nature.
