The afternoon features Open Studios hosted by Byrdcliffe’s artists-in-residence, a view of the Byrdcliffe jewelry and ceramic studios, an unveiling of the Haiku Box Project, a series of artist-made boxes installed on trees throughout the Byrdcliffe colony, as well as a tour of White Pines, the original 1902 home of Byrdcliffe’s founders, Ralph and Jane Whitehead. Also featured in the event is a free concert at 4:00 pm at the Barn by British pianist Simon Mulligan, a collaboration with our friends at Maverick Concerts.
