Celebrate the Summer of Unity

Full day of events promoting peace. Join us at 11am at the intersection of Rts. 212 and 375 for the International Walk for World Peace, where flags of every nation will be carried. The Dakota Unity Riders, who have journeyed from Manitoba, Canada in a sacred action for healing will lead the procession through Woodstock, concluding at the Comeau property with a free concert in the park. This year's theme is music and culture of various First Nations. Performers include Liam O'Maonlai, traditional Irish musician and diverse talent, Jessie High Eagle, with other Dakota singers and dancers, the Jarama African drummers, and many more. 5pm at The Colony Cafe, Liam O'Maonlai of the Hothouse Flowers will headline a performance, joined by opening act featuring Paul McMahon, Gayle Two Eagles, Larry Ahenekew, and Shamsi Ruhe among others.
