Charles Stein: Reading/Drawing

In 2015, Stein started drawing in a particular way, the result of which, a few years on, is a continuum of hand-drawn works on paper. Twelve of these drawings (which seem like maps of the underpinnings of universes, including our own) were recently published in a large-format book, which will be the subject of this talk. Stein's work comprises a complexly integrated field of poems, prose reflections, translations, drawings, photographs, lectures, conversations, and performances.
