Closing Reception and Reading

Bushel will host a closing reception for its current exhibition ‘Beaver Fever,’ with readings by writers Jennifer Krasinski and Iris Cushing. Refreshments will be served. Curated by Margaretville writer and critic Jennifer Kabat, ‘Beaver Fever’ features work by Angela Dufresne, Pia Dehne, and Elizabeth Bonaventura, three painters working upstate whose imagery and ideas question gender, feminism, and representation. To mark the closing of the exhibition, Kabat has invited Krasinski and Cushing to read their work in the context of the exhibition at Bushel.
