Collecting a Place with Alisa Besher

Capture and share your relationship to your community and neighbors in a hands-on workshop for all ages at the East Fishkill Community Library. Taking inspiration from artists whose artworks are informed by their relationships with specific places, we will create collaborative oral histories and personal maps of our everyday journeys. As an artist educator at Dia:Beacon, Alisa Besher draws on her extensive educator experience to develop project ideas that explore the possibilities and potential of perception, language, and collaborative work with people of all ages.
