The Concerts in the Village series continues with “Schubert and Beethoven: The Dawn of the Romantic Age” featuring the Broad Street Chorale, Broad Street Orchestra, and soloists Amanda Boyd-Grout, Vicki Smith, Jon Morrell, and Andrew Robert Munn. Under the direction of David Smith, the concert features three important works: Beethoven’s concert aria Ah! perfido, op. 65, soprano Amanda Boyd-Grout soloist; Schubert’s Symphony No. 5 in B-flat; and Beethoven’s monumental Mass in C, op. 86.
