Concerts in the Village (CITV) continues its 9th season with the Broad Street Orchestra and five exciting soloists from the Bard Graduate Vocal Arts Program. David Smith, CITV’s Artistic Director, conducts, along with Assistant Conductor Noah Palmer. Included will be seven remarkable works from the 19th and 20th centuries, for orchestra and for voice with orchestra, by Berlioz, Duparc, Chausson, Debussy, Canteloube, Ravel and Milhaud. Among the works being performed are Berlioz' "Les nuits d'été" and Debussy’s “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun."
