“Deep Air” Art Series: Geography and Gender Deborah Poe and Kazumi Tanaka

Poet, artist bookmaker, curator, and professor Deborah Poe and visual artist Kazumi Tanaka present their art and in turn explore complex issues of geography and power (gendered, nationalist, and resource-based) while staying deeply committed to beauty. This event is curated by artist and poet, Lee Gough. Each speaker will present for about 20 minutes, followed Q&A, conversation, tea and cake.
