As heard on his recently released solo album, "Turquoise," Devon Allman is as much or more influenced by the likes of Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler and Tom Petty - whose song "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" he covers on the album - than he is by his famous father, Greg Allman, leader of the legendary Southern-rock group, the Allman Brothers Band, and his late uncle, Duane Allman, who himself was a sometime-partner of Clapton.
