There is often a disconnect between “observation” and what we think we “see”. This concept is often a problem when creating representational imagery; what makes a physical object “feel” realized, how much information needs to be included to achieve that effect?
As a class we will be working from a still life set up to explore these ideas. Students will have the choice of either Drawing or Painting, using acrylic paint. This is a group class with the instructor providing hands on individualized instruction to each student. All levels of ability are welcome.
