Drawing with the Masters

Self-isolating at home? It’s the perfect time to work on your drawing skills by copying the old masters. John A. Varriano will guide you through this time-honored tradition that was practiced by all of the masters we will be studying. This interactive class will analyze the portrait and human figure in terms of masses, planes and construction lines. Students will be asked to make copies of lesson plates and master drawings. The class will combine lecture, demonstrations, and critiques of students’ works. Wednesdays 10 AM. Maximum of 60 participants. Hosted by Woodstock School of Art.
