An exhibit of one man’s journey to inform the world of Cambodia’s experiences through art and heal his heart. Chanthou Oeur has spanned the globe utilizing his extraordinary multi talents. His art demonstrates his belief in Mother Nature and the profound balancing of the logical reality of life. He was a freedom fighter soldier against the Vietnamese who invaded Cambodia. During the reign of the Khmer Rouge communists, he was encamped in a prison work camp. He now lives in the Hudson Valley and has exhibited at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum.
