Few things are more enjoyable than pairing a great wine and a decent cigar. Add to that watching the sun set over the Shawangunk Ridge, with the last rays of the day lighting up the spectacular autumn foliage, and you have yourself a perfectly indulgent Friday evening.
You can do exactly that next Friday, November 2 at Whitecliff Vineyard and Winery in Gardiner. Their Wine & Cigars event from 6 to 8pm will offer a limited number of guests the chance to experience a guided tasting flight. Whitecliff Vineyard has won multiple awards for its sustainable, regional artisanal wines, including the Double Gold at the prestigious Finger Lakes International Wine Competition for the Gamay Noir, which is made entirely with estate grapes. They also took home the Double Gold at the Hudson Valley Wine Competition for their Vidal Blanc. You can try both of these wines plus several more at the event on November 2.
