In celebration of Ernst Lubitsch's 125th Birthday, The Rosendale Theatre will show two of his silent Weimar Era masterpieces. “The Doll”, a reworking of the ballet Coppelia with “the Lubitsch Touch” and “The Oyster Princess” in which a spoiled American heiress realises she should be careful for what she wishes for. Both star Ossi Oswalda (known as the “German Mary Pickford”) and Victor Janson. With live accompaniment by Marta Waterman.
