Self-declared "maker of useful things" Eva Zeisel was a Hungarian-born American (Rockland County) industrial designer known for her work with ceramics, primarily from the period after she emigrated to the United States.
This lecture, packed with examples of Zeisel’s works and details both personal and professional, presents her to new and established devotees. Hosted by Jean Richards, actress, Eva Zeisel expert.
Zeisel’s acclaim is worldwide. Her work is in the permanent collections of such museums as the Met, MoMA, and the British Museum.
