Everything Everywhere All at Once

This "film for a generation," according to Oscar nominee Jamie Lee Curtis, is a big-hearted sci-fi action adventure about an exhausted Chinese American laundromat owner (Michelle Yeoh) who can't seem to finish her taxes. When she is swept up in an insane adventure, she discovers a multiverse of the lives she could have led, propelling her on a super-sonic highway to save her family and herself. Directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as the Daniels, this existential comedy explodes the mundane into infinite, visually thrilling and hyperbolic narratives. Nominated for 10 Oscars.
