Explore seven private and public gardens in Amenia, Millbrook, Poughkeepsie, and Stanfordville, open for self-guided tours and plant sales to benefit the Garden Conservancy and Innisfree Garden, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. most locations. Highlights include a Japanese-influenced garden, an allée of hornbeams, a collection of more than 250 hosta cultivars, large arches covered with roses, and a teddy bear’s picnic. No reservations required; rain or shine.
