Join the Delaware Highlands Conservancy for a free presentation where Peg DiBenedetto of the Eastern Golden Eagle Project will discuss the population of winter resident Golden Eagles of New York State. Although considered an endangered species, and recognized only as migrants through New York, very little was known about their natural history until very recently. With the use of telemetry, the Appalachian Eagle Project has proven their resident status and has begun to piece together the local flight habits and migratory behavior of these magnificent birds.
