Great Collard Greens Cook Off

Bring your best version of Collard Greens or Cornbread (or both!) and compete against other local cooks for the prize of Best Collard Greens and Best Cornbread. Or just come and cheer your favorite cook. Along with the contest for local cooks, there will be a competition for professional restaurant chefs AND for the best cooks from our local organizations and congregations. Judges include chefs, food professionals and food writers. In addition to the cook off, there will be cooking demonstrations, sample tastings of collard greens and cornbread, music, a Farmers Market with produce from farms in our area.
