"Growing Wild" is a lyrical solo performance about a family's inter-generational quest to heal from the trauma of a mysterious sex crime. Written and performed by Shona Tucker, it is directed by Elizabeth Van Dyke. Free, open to the public, general seating, no reservations necessary. The performance is part of The Future of Freedom: The Larry H. Mamiya Memorial Conference Celebrating 50 Years of Africana Studies at Vassar College, and organized by the Africana Studies Program and the Office of the President. It is co-sponsored by the American Studies Program and the Drama Department.
