Handmade Paper & Encaustic with Tatana Kellner & Cynthia Winika

Through August 11. Join WSW in collaboration with R&F Handmade Paints in Kingston as we create contemporary waxed handmade paper works. Participants will work with Tana in WSW’s papermaking studio, using cotton, abaca, flax, and ArtFarm fibers. Once we master the basics, we’ll investigate how to best use the special qualities of each fiber, creating collages by layering, embedding, stenciling, pulp painting, and embossing.
