Hard Dinero

Hard Dinero illuminates the struggles and dreams of our undocumented Spanish-speaking population. Told in both English and Spanish, writer/performer David Gonzalez has woven their true, uplifting and tragic stories, into a humanizing and heartfelt tapestry. Hard Dinero, a mesmerizing evening of monologues, music, video, poetry, and sound design, illuminates the struggles and dreams that sustain hope for better tomorrows. The title, Hard Dinero, is a play on the Spanish word jardinero which means gardener. This performance was made possible by a generous grant from the New York State Council on the Arts, and the Rosendale Theatre.
