Haunted Rondout Boat Rides: Halloween on the Water

The restless spirits of those who perished on the Hudson River all return and gather at the Rondout Lighthouse to await passage to the afterlife. Visible to the eye but harmless to the living, these spirits come together to remember and recount the perilous and often tragic stories of their demise. The Hudson River Maritime Museum will offer visitors a unique opportunity to hear these grisly tales and experience life on the water, after dark, aboard our tour boat Solaris. Our captain will take visitors as close to the Lighthouse as spirits allow, after all, who knows what spirits you may encounter along the way?
