The Annual Meeting of the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and Highlands will take place at their headquarters, the 1830 Captain David Crawford House. Members of the Board of Managers will come together to review another successful year. Visitors will get to know the Historical Society through committee reports on the past year’s activities and how the organization met its mission. After there will be a talk, “Introduction to the Hudson River School of Painting” given by Laura Nicholls, retired art teacher and current art history instructor at the Desmond Campus of Mount Saint Mary College.
