Holiday Break Walk

Our destination is Compass Rock, a scenic vista in the Peter’s Kill Area which offers spectacular views of the Catskill Mountains from a white Quartz Conglomerete rock slab, dotted with twisted pitch pines. This hike, which departs from the Peter’s Kill Parking Area, is estimated at around two miles and includes some hills and rocky terrain.
