Ready to do some hip, locally sustainable holiday shopping? May I suggest the 2002 Hudson Valley Hullabaloo, which comes to Kingston on November 19 and 20.

The two-day curated fair and party brings together 75 skilled and creative makers, artists, designers, and crafters who will be offering their unique, high-quality, bespoke wares to buyers and perusers. Included are vendors specializing in handmade clothing and textiles, ceramics, candles, soaps, jewelry, pottery, leather items, paper goods, hemp products, maple syrup, chocolate, spices, handbags, baskets, vintage items, and more.

Photographer Tom Delooza’s booth will be set up to take antique-style wet plate collodian photographs: Peter Demuth will be taking fun holiday photos; and Thorneater comics will be doing custom-drawn portraits. The event will also feature food from Hole in the Wall Donuts and Samosa Shack, and music by DJ Mr. Chips, the host of cosponsor Radio Kingston’s “Dollar Bin Radio.”

The 2002 Hudson Valley Hullabaloo will take place November 19-20 from 10am to 4pm at the Andy Murphy Midtown Neighborhood Center in Kingston. For more information and a full list of vendors and sponsors, visit the event website.
