HV Housing: The Impact of Short-Term Rentals & The Prospect of Rent Regulation

Assuring the availability of affordable housing is one of the greatest challenges that faces communities in the Hudson Valley. This fall The Benjamin Center, the SUNY New Paltz Foundation, and RUPCO will host a half day meeting to discuss the impacts of two key recent developments that affect the affordable housing supply: the growth of short-term rentals and the newly passed rent regulation option for localities.
