“Icebox”, a 2018 fictionalized portrayal of a Honduran refugee, follows a 12-year-old named Oscar, played by Anthony Gonzalez, as he journeys from home to the US where he is soon caught and detained, suffering a dehumanized incarceration. The film exposes the systematic disregard our government has for children.
