In Search of the Bridges

American 20th century and contemporary choral works – World premiere by John Myers! A choral concert with modern works that represent some of the most important cultural groups of this country: Western European, African American, Latin American, and Native American. It includes the world premiere of a large-scale commissioned choral work by Berkshires-based composer John Myers, and works by William Grant Still, Nathaniel Dett, and Luis Advis. Performers are Elliott Paige, tenor; Jermaine Woodard Jr., Bass; Crescendo Chorus and instrumentalists, including the composer John Myers on guitar.
