Pleases join BarlisWedlick Architects in celebrating International Passive House Days, when passive houses (ultra-energy-efficient buildings) around the world open their doors to the public.

There are two projects on the schedule for November 11, 2016: the Seventh-day Adventist Church at Kinderhook, the nation's first certified passive house church, and the latest passive house for Columbia County Habitat for Humanity. The Habitat for Humanity project, currently under construction, shows that these high-performance homes can be built with the help of dedicated volunteers.

Please see the website for times and addresses. Hope to see you there!
