Internet Awareness: Keeping Youth Safe in Cyberspace

This presentation will equip attendees with an understanding of the dangers of social networking and gaming sites, smart phone/tablet apps, disturbing trends such as sexting, web camera exploitation, cyberbullying, and tactics online predators use to lure youth into dangerous and potentially life-threatening situations. Tools for engaging youth in conversations about cybersafety and maintaining consistent follow-up will be explored.
