Intro into Mold Making

With Kelly McGrath. Mold making is a part of everyday life from the mass produced cups and plates in the kitchen cabinet to the complex toys and gadgets we use for play. This class will introduce participants to basic mold terminology and the way that a block mold is constructed. Participants will create a model in clay and then produce a mold around that clay model. The mold from this class can be used to cast a variety of materials including plaster clay, paper and wax.
