Intro to Cyanotype Workshop

Join us for Studio 89’s first Cyanotype (AKA sun prints or blueprints) workshop with Hudson Valley Artist, Helen Gutfreund. This hands-on workshop will provide you with a full demonstration of the process from choosing paper and mixing chemicals, to finished piece so you can see the process before you do it yourself. Provided will be a brief history of cyanotype, a look at historical and contemporary use of cyanotype, and lots of play time during which you will make two cyanotype prints to keep.
