Introduction to Weaving

Mid-Hudson Heritage Center Visual Arts Workshop with instructor: Kate Mitchell. October 27-28, 9 am- 1 pm each day. Includes materials, tuition assistance available. Using table looms, floor looms, multi-harness looms and simple frame looms, this introductory course shows you how weaving works. Participants will weave patterned swatches on pre-warped looms as well as learn how to design, wind and thread a warp.
