Join Boatright Wayne Ford and Bryan Rooney in this one day class teaching students how to recanvass a Penn Yan cartopper. This process is typical of a wood canvas canoe construction. The cartopper is a beamier transom vessel similar to the structure of a wood canvas canoe. In the hands-on process students will create a canvas envelope that gets pulled over the hull with many hands will facilitate attacking the canvas around the gunnel. The canvas is stretch canvas it tight with vice grips and clamps and students will cut off the excess canvas. Register at www.hrmm.org
